The monthly Zonta Club of Madison Business Meeting is a dinner meeting with a special program preceding discussion of club business. The April program features Dr. Amy L. Rosebrough, the Wisconsin State Archaeologist. She will discuss the expansion of research regarding the recent discovery of the Lake Mendota Canoes. The recoveries drew international attention in May 2024, when it was announced that archaeologists have identified up to 11 canoes within the same site. The 4,500-year-old canoe is now the oldest recorded in the Great Lakes.
